Mini-Workshops at the August Meeting – in person only.

August 20 @ 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Join us for our monthly meeting on Tuesday, August 20th from 7:00 to 9:00pm. In addition to Announcements and Sew and Tell, we have several mini-workshops for you to learn new skills or hone those you know. Like Make-and-Take but less about taking a finished project home with you, you can learn about and try your hand at the following techniques taught by our own members.

Michelle Trimble
Learn to machine sew small curves with a minimum of fuss!

Judy Epstein-Williams
Perfect Tumbling Blocks: Judy’s Version. A combination of hand piecing and EPP.

Claudia Shearer
Creating Color Stories

Pattie Klimek
How to Debone a Shirt in 5 Minutes demo.

Did you clean out your closets recently? Take all those worn shirts and recycle them. This demo will show you a quick way to “debone” a shirt and “harvest” the fabric use using your rotary cutter. Pattie will also show you some examples of projects you can sew using this fabric.

This will be an in-person only meeting at St Anne’s.
Nonmembers may pay a $5 guest fee at the door.
