Alex Byrne is an artist and entrepreneur living in Oakland, California. Originally from the UK, she lived and worked in London for more than 20 years before moving to Tokyo, Japan, and then to San Francisco in 2014. SFQG board meetings are held at 7 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of the month, except December. Meetings are currently taking place via Zoom. Committee chair reports should be submitted by the Saturday before the meeting, by email, to all participants. Any guild member is welcome to attend; zoom link is in Members Only Page.

On Monday February 12 at 7pm, join us for a zoom lecture by Kestrel Michaud. In "Design for Realism," she focuses on incorporating principles of good design into art quilt layouts with the intent of creating a realistic piece of art using fabric as a medium.
